History

The origin of our gymnasium could be discovered from a parish school, which dates back to the middle of XVII century. There has always been a school in Salantai, types ranging from a parish school at the church, a school under Russian authorities influence to girls‘, Jewish and mixed primary schools, a department of Skuodas Gymnasium, and a secondary school. On 27 July 2006 the gymnasium was re-established.

The gymnasium provides primary, basic and secondary education for students of age 7-19.
